How the subscription works

Is there really no upfront cost?

Yes, for qualifying website projects. $0 upfront development fees for qualifying website projects. Custom projects exceeding standard package scope may require a separate development quote.

How long is the agreement?

All website subscriptions require an initial 12-month service agreement.

Who owns the website?

Cornerstone Digital Group retains ownership of its proprietary website designs, source code, reusable components, and development assets. Clients retain ownership of their domain names, business content, branding, and customer data, subject to applicable third-party rights.

Can I buy my website outright?

Eligible websites may be purchased under a separately agreed buyout schedule. Proprietary Cornerstone software platforms, reusable components, and nontransferable third-party services are excluded unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Can I upgrade my plan later?

Customers may upgrade their website subscription as their business grows. Qualifying upgrades within the new package scope do not require an additional upfront website development fee. A revised service agreement may apply.

What is not included in the monthly price?

Domain registration and renewal fees are the client’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed. External software subscriptions, payment processing fees, premium integrations, API usage, and third-party licensing fees are billed separately unless expressly included in the service agreement.

Hosting & Maintenance

Managed hosting, SSL security, routine maintenance, and applicable backups are included throughout the active subscription.

Content Updates

Each package includes a defined monthly content update allowance. Unused update time does not roll over. Additional updates, redesigns, and new functionality may incur separate charges.

Additional Development

Features, integrations, and development requests outside the selected package are quoted separately.

Domain Registration

Domain registration and renewal fees are the client’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

Third-Party Services

External software subscriptions, payment processing fees, premium integrations, API usage, and third-party licensing fees are billed separately unless expressly included in the service agreement.

Cancellation & Early Termination

Cancellation and early termination are governed by the signed service agreement, including any remaining obligations under the initial contract term.

Website Buyout
